Planning a Disney Vacation

Hello everyone and welcome to yet another Muting and The Mouse. This week I want to take some time and share with you all again some very special news. As you may know by now, Abby and I have joined forces with Spark of Magic Travel Agency. This has been something that I specifically have been looking at for some time and finally it made sense to jump aboard. I want to start by saying Disney trip planning can be tough. If you have never been or have never looked at a Disney vacation it can be overwhelming. This is why we decided to become travel agents with Spark of Magic Travel, to help assist those who might need all the help they can get. Disney has so many packages and it can be a daunting feet to decide which location to travel to, for how long, and where at. In this post, I want to share with you guys what you will get from Abby and I if you do decide to reach out to us to help you with your vacation planning. So buckle up and keep us in mind when you are looking to book the most magical vacation ever. In this post we will review what we will provide you as agents and some things to keep in mind (like we do) when booking trips.

Services are Free!

First off, I have to start off by saying our services are free of charge! The first thing I always thought was that it would be another expense. This is not the case. If you were to contact us, we would simply just ask some information about the dates and budget and go from there. We will send you a package based on what you give us as guidelines and go from there. Once we send you a package and you decide to book, we will be there with you every step of the way. If you have any questions at any time along the way, do not hesitate to reach out. I can promise you this, we will treat your trip like it is our our own to ensure you have the most magical vacation ever. Okay, so services are free, but what next?

Deciding When and Where To Go

The first thing I tell people is to make sure you know when you want to go on a Disney Vacation. No matter if you are traveling to Disneyland, Disney World, a Disney Cruise, or any other Disney vacation be sure to look at weather and when it fits in your schedule. A perfect example is if you are a teacher you might want to go over scheduled breaks. If you do not like 100 degrees with humidity maybe do not plan on Disney World in the summer months. If you just do no know when is a good time, feel free to ask. Abby and I have been to Disney World close to every month of the year over our lives so we can speak to that. We also have some contacts who can speak more to some of the other destinations and we would be happy to help you in deciding when or where is a good location and at what time of the year. This is a real benefit of using a travel agent as we can speak from real life experience instead of looking at weather applications. I would be lying ifI said I did not reach out to people when we are looking to book a trip for a time we have not been.

Deciding on a Resort, Length of Stay, and Budgeting

Once you decide on a budget, you can let us know! Once we know that, we can help meet that budget. You have to take into account a couple things. At first, you might not know what you are looking at for a vacation. Please reach out to us and we can work it out together. Once you decide where you want to go, there can be a variety of options on rooms or hotels you can choose from. If you have a predetermined budget, or know where you want to stay, let us know. There are different categories of hotel rooms or staterooms we can discuss to meet any budget. If you do decide to go to the Disney Parks, let us know how many days you want tickets. Once we take a look at options for you, we will send them to you via email and the process can be as short or as long as you want. We will work with you to ensure it is smooth and easy. You can count on us to make sure we get you exactly what you are looking for when booking this Disney Vacation. If you simply just do not know what to expect as you never looked into a Disney Vacation before, let us know that and we can start at square one with basic suggestions to give you the most information we can. So far, we have covered our services are free, deciding where and when to go, figuring out how long and where you want to stay; this is how I start each and every planning period for myself and this is what I will do with each and every one of you who reach out. What next?

Booking

Once you receive the quotes of the Disney vacation we send you, you can pick one of the options or ask for more. Once you decide, let us know and we can start booking the trip for you! We will get you all squared away at the resort you pick with a reservation and you will only be responsible for a deposit to Disney to hold your reservation. Once that happens, we will let you know when final payment is due and you can pay that at anytime before your trip. Once your trip is booked, we do not go away, we will still be there for so much help along the way. We will be sure to tell you to download the mobile app and add your reservation to it. Once you do that, everything for your trip will be in this app. But what other help would you need?

Dining Reservations

If you are staying on a Disney Property location, you can make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance. If you need suggestions on food, reach out or check the Disney Dining reviews on the blog. We can help you make these reservations and be sure to make the planning painless. It is very simple to add them and we can help you look for the times and restaurants you are looking for. This can be tricky to find times but do not be discouraged if you cannot find one, there are also some “walk up lists” you can always check on to see if you can dine at those locations.

Transportation from The Airport

Disney does not have a service to get you from the airport to the resort anymore. With that being said, we can help assist you in deciding what is the best way to get to the resorts. We can check in on rental car pricing and book those for you. If you know you want a rental car, we can book the type of car you want and have that confirmation sent to you. There is also a shuttle to Disney World called Mears Connect. That can be booked one way or round trip and we will look into pricing and send that to you as well. Finally, you can always use a cab or Uber/Lyft when you get there. No matter what service you choose, we will be with you every step of the way!
